AUSTRALIA: Indigenous lives matter

In Australia, a BLM protest was organised in collaboration with the family of David Dungay, an Indigenous man who died in 2015 while being restrained in a Sydney jail despite repeatedly saying those same words heard in the USA: ‘I can’t breathe’. Protest organisers gathered over 100,000 signatures on a petition calling for those involved in his death to be charged.
