TURKEY: European Court rules in favour of journalists

In November, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that the government of Turkey had violated the right to the freedom of expression and liberty and security of a group of journalists when it placed them in pretrial detention in 2016 and ordered the government to pay damages to those involved.
