NORWAY: Reaction against oil exploration

The announcement of further oil exploration in the Norwegian Sea was one of the prompts for XR protests at a range of sites across Norway’s capital Oslo in September. Mobilisations included protests outside government ministries, a road blockade and a human chain, while some protested wearing fish costumes. Around 40 people were arrested.
