SINGAPORE: Solo climate protests repressed

In Singapore, even a lone climate protest could attract state repression. Two young people who held separate individual climate strikes under the Fridays for Future banner in March faced police investigation for protesting without a permit. It marked the first time that actions associated with the school strike movement were seen in Singapore.
